Ken Reynolds
For over three decades, Ken Reynolds has thrived in a variety of development and construction roles, honing his exceptional leadership and management skills as he methodically completed hundreds of successful projects. He has gained invaluable experience as a leader throughout the entire development/construction life cycle—from both the owner’s and the builder’s perspectives.
In key leadership roles overseeing Development and Construction at KHP Capital Partners and formerly at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, Ken was instrumentally involved in every type of hospitality project throughout the US. Ken’s vast project experience includes not only hospitality, resorts, and restaurants/F&B but also retail, commercial, multi-family residential, mixed use, new construction, adaptive reuse/historic, complex renovation, and rebranding/repositioning.
Early in his career, Ken formed his foundation in commercial building, learning how to build a multitude of structure types for Webcor Builders. There he began to grow his passion for early planning, understanding the critical flow of information from the project team and logistics, and executing complex construction projects.
Throughout his career, Ken developed the ability to envision and create programming opportunities, as well as focus on early decision making and due-diligence analysis. These strengths, coupled with his keen negotiation skills, have translated into maximizing value, profitability, and long-term success of projects.
With an approachable demeanor and calm nature, Ken fully grasps the stakeholders’ needs. While maintaining an unsurpassed level of integrity and commitment to his clients and projects, he not only gets the job done but also is energized by challenges. His personal philosophy mirrors Warren Bennis: Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
Ken personally embraces the outdoors and active sports and is an avid-fly fishing angler seeking new destinations and bucket-list experiences.
“A good plan, aggressively executed now is better than a perfect plan tomorrow”
– Gen George Patton
