However, the project faced a major disruption when Hurricane Irma struck midway through construction, causing substantial damage and threatening both schedule and budget. The storm created complex challenges across the site, requiring immediate reassessment of scope, resources, and financial exposure.

In response, the team acted decisively—enhancing project leadership, conducting comprehensive damage and cost analyses, and navigating intricate insurance negotiations. Through this disciplined and strategic approach, we successfully secured a $50 million settlement, stabilizing the project and ensuring continuity through completion.
